Take the opportunity and experience this fabulous and unforgettable 8-day trip to Egypt by starting in Cairo. Feel the historic atmosphere of the Giza Pyramids, explore the famous Egyptian Museum, then journey South to Aswan on a Sleeper Train to embark on a relaxing Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor before you return to Cairo by train.

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Your Valley the Kings representative will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport and accompany you to your hotel by A/C Vehicle. After checking in, they will confirm the pick-up times for your tours, leaving you to relax and settle in.

Day 2: Cairo Sightseeing / Sleeper Train to Luxor
Your Tour Guide will pick you up from your hotel after breakfast for a visit to the amazing Giza Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. Next, see the majestic Sphinx. You will then visit the fabulous Egyptian Museum. Time for lunch follows before continuing to Old Cairo to visit The Hanging Church. Next, view Ben Ezra Synagogue and enjoy the colorful hustle and bustle of Khan El Khalili Bazaar. After your tours, you will be transferred to Giza Train Station to connect with your sleeper train from Cairo to Luxor.

Day 3: Luxor & Karnak Temples / Nile Cruise
Upon your arrival at Luxor Train Station, you will be met and assisted by your Valley the Kings representative, who will transfer you to your Private Egyptologist Guide. Visit the magnificent Karnak and Luxor Temples on the East Bank of the River Nile. After your visits, you will be transferred for embarkation and check-in to your Nile Cruise. Relax and enjoy lunch on board, plus afternoon tea and dinner.

Day 4: Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple & Colossi of Memnon
After breakfast on board, your Egyptologist Guide will take you to the famous Valley of the Kings, the majestic Queen Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. Following your tours, you will return to your Nile Cruise in Luxor. Spend the afternoon relaxing while sailing to Edfu via Esna Lock. Upon arrival in Esna, enjoy a fabulous dinner on board.

Day 5: Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples
Enjoy breakfast on board before your tour to the Temple of Horus in Edfu. After your visit, return to your Nile Cruise for lunch as you sail onto Kom Ombo. Upon arrival, your Egyptologist Guide will accompany you to visit Kom Ombo Temple. Continue sailing to Aswan.

Day 6: Philae Temple, High Dam & Unfinished Obelisk
After breakfast on board, your Egyptologist Guide will escort you to visit the famous High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and the awe-inspiring Philae Temple in Aswan. Upon completion of your visits, return to your Nile Cruise for a great lunch on board and afternoon tea.

Day 7: Disembark Nile Cruise / Optional Abu Simbel TourAfter breakfast and check-out, disembark your Nile Cruise. Today, you have the opportunity to take an optional tour to the mesmerizing Abu Simbel Temple. Afterward, transfer to Aswan Railway Station to connect with your sleeper train back to Cairo.

Day 8: Final Departure
Your representative will meet you at Giza Railway Station to transfer you to Cairo International Airport for your final departure.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids & Egyptian Museum & Old Cairo
After breakfast, your Valley the Kings Guide will pick you up from your hotel by A/C Vehicle to visit The Giza Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. See the majestic Sphinx, then visit the Valley Temple belonging to Chephren’s pyramid. After lunch, explore the fabulous Egyptian Museum, where you can view the fantastic Tutankhamun collection. Continue to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue, followed by shopping in the lively Khan El Khalili Bazaar. After your tours, you will be driven back to your hotel.

Day 3: Optional tour to Alexandria / Sleeper Train to Aswan
Consider a trip to the wonderful city of Alexandria. Visit Pompey’s Pillar, the only known free-standing column, view the ruins of a Roman Temple, and explore the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, one of the seven wonders of the Middle Ages. Proceed to Qaitbay Citadel and end with a visit to Bibliotheca Alexandrina. After this interesting visit, you will be driven to Giza Railway Station for your sleeper train to Aswan.

Day 4: Aswan Sightseeing & Nile Cruise
Your Guide will be at Aswan Railway Station to meet you and transfer you for a sightseeing tour in A/C Vehicle. Start with a visit to the High Dam, then to the Unfinished Obelisk. Continue to the majestic Philae Temple built for the Goddess Isis. Return to check in at the cruise.

Day 5: Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples
After breakfast, sail to Kom Ombo to see the Temple built in honor of Sobek the Crocodile God and Horus the Falcon-headed God. Enjoy lunch on board and continue sailing to Luxor.

Day 6: Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple & Colossi of Memnon
After a good night’s rest, visit the legendary Valley of the Kings, home to 63 tombs. Next, see the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, built into the mountains, followed by the Colossi of Memnon, where you can take some fabulous photographs.

Day 7: Disembark Nile Cruise / Optional Abu Simbel Tour

Day 2: Cairo Sightseeing - Train to Aswan
Your Tour Guide will pick you up from your Hotel after you have enjoyed your breakfast to transfer you for a visit to the amazing Giza Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. After this see the majestic Sphinx which has the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body and stands on the Giza Plateau. We journey on to visit the fabulous Egyptian Museum. The Museum houses many artifacts from the Pharaonic period, you will also have the great opportunity to view the fantastic Tutankhamun. Time now to take a break for Lunch. After enjoying your Lunch continue on to Old Cairo to visit The Hanging Church. This Church has steps leading up so became known as the Staircase Church. Carry on to view Ben Ezra Synagogue. Time now to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the colorful Khan El Khalili Bazaar and shop until you drop. When you have finished your tours you will be transferred to Giza Train Station to connect with your sleeper Train from Cairo to Aswan.

Day 3: Aswan Sightseeing
Your Valley the Kings representative will meet you at Aswan Railway Station to transfer you for your visit to the famous High Dam which controls all of Egypt’s water. Journey onto the great Unfinished Obelisk. The Obelisk weighs 1,168 tons. Now visit the beautiful Philae Temple, which the ancient Egyptians built for the Goddess Isis, she represents Health, Marriage and Wisdom. After your visits you will be transferred to check into your Nile Cruise.

Day 4: Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples
Breakfast on board. Today we sail to Kom Ombo where you will enjoy a tour of Kom Ombo Temple, this Temple was shared by the two Gods Sobek and Horus. Back to your Nile Cruise to enjoy lunch on board whilst sailing onto Edfu where you will visit Horus Temple. Tea will then be served on board whilst sailing onto Luxor via Esna Lock, here you can observe the local life and have the opportunity to take some photos.

Day 5: Luxor Sightseeing: Valley of the Kings & Queen Hatshepsut Temple & Colossi of Memnon
After breakfast on board take a visit to the West Bank home of the famous Valley of the Kings. Journey through the Valley of the Kings and explore the tombs. So let us unlock the secret story of the Royal Tombs, the world of mystery and treasure. Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari. Queen Hatshepsut was the first Pharonic woman to rule Egypt. Now onto the Colossi of Memnon facing the Nile. The Colossi are twin statues of Amenhotep III, a large earthquake reportedly shattered the northern colossus, after the rupture the lower half of the statue was reputed to Sing, always within 1 or 2 hours of Sunrise.

Day 6: Disembarkation / Karnak and Luxor Temples
After breakfast disembark your Nile Cruise and your Guide will accompany you to visit the magical Karnak Temples, the greatest example of worship in history and was dedicated to the God Amun and his wife Mut. Then continue onto visit the majestic Luxor Temple which was built by Amunhotep III in 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and it was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. King Ramses II was the most famous king in the 19th Dynasty he ruled Egypt for about 67 years. Enjoy visiting Obelisk of Ramses II in front of the 1st Pylon. Transfer now to Luxor Railway Station to connect with your Sleeper Train back to Cairo.

Day 7: Cairo Optional Excursions
Your Representative will meet you at Giza Railway Station Cairo to transfer you to your Hotel. Today you have the opportunity to take some optional tours to Alexandria, Sakkara, Dahshur, Step Pyramids, or take some time to discover the City of Cairo.

Check out from your Hotel after breakfast to transfer to Cairo International Airport for your final departure.

Our prices are quoted in USD, but we also accept Euros and Sterling. The prices are per person and per trip, except during peak seasons such as Christmas, New Year, and Easter holidays. You can easily change the currency by clicking the icon at the bottom of the page.
Note: For domestic flights included in your tour, children aged 0-2 incur a fee of $15. Children aged 2 and above are classified as adults.
A deposit of 25% of the total tour price is required. During peak times (Christmas, New Year, and Easter), the deposit increases to 50%. Payment can be made via bank transfer (details will be provided), Western Union, or online.
