Tour Description

15 Days / 14 Nights

Day 1 : Arrival Cairo 

Once you have arrived at Cairo International Airport your representative will be waiting with a sign with Valley the Kings and your name upon it to transfer you to your Hotel by A/C Vehicle. When you arrive he will check you into the Hotel and confirm pick up times with you for your tours.

Day 2 : Pyramids & Sphinx & Egyptian Museum & Khan El-Khalili Market 

In the morning after breakfast your guide will pick you up from your hotel by A/C Vehicle to accompany you for a visit to The Great Giza Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. These amazing pyramids still remain a mystery of how they were built. After this see the incredible Sphinx which has the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body and stands on the Giza Plateau, also take a visit to the Valley Temple which belongs to the pyramids of Chephren. We now journey on to visit the awesome Egyptian Museum. The Museum houses many artifacts from the Pharaonic period, you will also have the great opportunity to view the stunning Tutankhamun collection of treasure. Ready now for something completely different! Shopping in Khan-El-Khalili Bazaar where you can wonder around and enjoy the fantastic atmosphere of this colorful bazaar. After enjoying these fantastic tours enjoy being driven back in comfort and safety to your Hotel.

Day 3 : Tel Basta & Belbis 

Today after breakfast your guide will pick you up to escort you to take the incredible Holy Family Journey here in Egypt. We start by visiting the Town of Babastis which is known also as Tel-Basta. Apparently this is where Jesus activated a well which produced a spring of water for drinking, you will have the opportunity to visit this well. Carry on to visit Belbeis. This is where the Holy Family rested under the shade of a tree, this became known as The Virgin Mary Tree also there is the Saint George Church which you will be able to visit. After this very interesting journey transfer back to your Hotel in Cairo.

Day 4 : Sakha & Samanoud 

In the morning after your breakfast we will be taking a trip to Sakha known for its Christian community back in the Middle Ages to visit the Virgin Mary Church, you will also have the chance to see the amazing footprint of Jesus Christ. We proceed onto Samanoud. This is where the Holy Family crossed the River Nile to the city inside the Delta. Here the people welcomed the Holy Family where upon they were Blessed by Jesus. There is also Saint Abanoub Church you will be able to visit and a Holy Well from which the Holy Family partook of drinking the water. Transfer back to your Hotel in Cairo.

Day 5 : Wadi Natroun

We continue our Holy Family Journey today by visiting Wadi Natroun, so after your breakfast your guide will escort you to this desert area which is said to have been blessed by Christ. The Holy Family made their way across the Western part of the River Nile Rosetta to Wadi Al Natrun which is to the South. As tradition goes this is where the Virgin Mary and Jesus hid in the Valley on their trip to Egypt, where upon Jesus blessed all four directions of the Valley. Wadi Al Natroun one of the most famous Valleys in Egypt has four Monasteries which are still in existence to this day. We will start with the oldest Monastery Deir al Baramus which is the more isolated, journey onto Deir Anba Bishoy whose body still lies in the Monastery. You will also visit Abu Makar Monastery. We finish with Deir El Suryani Monastery this is the smallest of all the four Monasteries. Transfer back to your Hotel in Cairo.

Day 6 : Old Cairo Churches 

Today your guide will pick you up after breakfast to transfer you to Old Cairo to visit the Cairo Churches. We start with the Hanging Church and St. Sergius. The Hanging Church is unique in its building style as it contains a wooden roof in the shape of the Noah’s Ark, then continue to see the Church of St. George along with the Fortress of Babylon which the Holy Family passed by. Proceed to Mostorod to see the beautiful virgin Mary Church, also visit the Holy Mary tree and the Holy well at Matariya which lies on the outskirts of Cairo, a popular destination among medieval pilgrims.

Day 7 : Cairo to Minya Trip 

Moving on with our Holy Family Tour, today after breakfast we journey to South Egypt where the Holy Family embarked on a boat on the River Nile to where the Church of the Holy Mary exists in Maadi. Many visitors go to this church to view the Bible which is behind glass in the Sanctuary. Now journey on to EL Minya which takes approx. 2 to 3 hours. Upon arrival you can view the beautiful El Minya Church which was cut out of the cliff beside the river at Gabal Al-Teir in Minya.

Day 8 : Minya & Dandara & Luxor 

After Breakfast and check out of your Hotel we carry on with our Holy Family journey by visiting The White Monastery which was built by St. Senoud in 400 AD. Inside The White Monastery there is a Basilica Church which used columns that were taken from ancient Egyptian buildings. You will also enjoy viewing the fabulous paintings which adorned the walls and ceilings. Proceeding on we now visit the Monastery of Al Muharraq in Assiut also known as the Monastery of the Holy Virgin at Al Qusiya). The Monastery was built around the area where the Holy Family stayed mostly in a cave which became the altar of the Church of Virgin Mary. We have now ended our Holy Family Journey and continue onto Luxor which is an approx. 5 hour drive. On our way to Luxor we will stop at Dendera Temple in Qena City and view the Hathor Temple who was the goddess of love and joy. After this visit proceed to your hotel in Luxor.

Day 9 : Luxor Nile Cruise Tours 

After breakfast and check out of your Hotel you will be transferred by A/C vehicle to board your 5 * Nile cruise to check in. After lunch on board enjoy a visit to the magical Karnak Temples and Luxor Temple. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 10 : Valley of the Kings & Hatshepsut Temple & Memnon 

After enjoying your breakfast on board take a visit to the West Bank home of the famous Valley of the Kings. Journey through the valley of the Kings and explore the tombs of King Tutankhamun, Ramssess VI, King Tutmosis and Amonhotep II, there are also many kings buried in the Valley. So let us unlock the secret story of the Royal Tombs, the world of mystery and treasure. We now continue onto the magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut also known as El Deir El Bahari. Queen Hatshepsut was the first Pharonic woman to rule Egypt and also to start the first trading routes. Now onto the Colossi of Memnon facing the Nile. The Colossi are twin statues of Amenhotep III, a large earthquake reportedly shattered the northern colossus, after the rupture the lower half of the statue was reputed to Sing, always within 1 or 2 hours of Sunrise. Back to your Cruise which will sail onto Edfu via the Esna Lock.

Day 11 : Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples 

This morning after Breakfast on board we now Sail to Edfu to visit Horus Temple. Edfu Temple is an ancient Egyptian Temple which houses important scenes and inscriptions about the Sacred Drama that related to the conflict between Horus and Seth. Sail onto Kom Ombo Temple. This Temple was shared by the two Gods Sobek and Horus. Sobek also known as the Crocodile is the God of the Nile, the Army Military and fertility. Horus is the God of Sky and Kingship. Back to your Cruise and sail onto Aswan.

Day 12 : Unfinished Obelisk & High Dam & Philae Temple 

Your Guide will meet you after having breakfast on board to accompany you to visit the famous High Dam which controls all of Egypt’s water. Now we move onto the unique Unfinished Obelisk. The Obelisk weighs 1,168 tons. Now visit the beautiful Philae Temple, which the ancient Egyptians built for the Goddess Isis, she represents Health, Marriage and Wisdom.

Day 13 : Aswan / Train to Cairo 

After breakfast disembark your Nile Cruise. Today you will have the opportunity to take an optional tour to the incredible Abu Simbel Temple or Nubian Village or spend time enjoying the sights of Aswan. Later in the evening you will be transferred to Aswan Railway Station to board your Sleeper Train to Cairo. You will be able to enjoy Dinner and Breakfast which will be served to you on board.

Day 14 : Cairo Optional Excursions 

Today you will be met by our representative at Giza Railway Station and escorted to your Hotel to check in. There are many tours and excursions in Cairo that you can enjoy and our representative will be only pleased to discuss these with you and make your optional day a great one.

Price Policy

Our prices are quoted in USD, but we also accept Euros and Sterling. The prices are per person and per trip, except during peak seasons such as Christmas, New Year, and Easter holidays. You can easily change the currency by clicking the icon at the bottom of the page.


Children Policy

  • Ages 0 - 1.99: Free of charge
  • Ages 2 - 11.99: Pay 50% of the tour price
  • Ages 12 and above: Pay the full tour price as an adult

Note: For domestic flights included in your tour, children aged 0-2 incur a fee of $15. Children aged 2 and above are classified as adults.


Payment Policy

A deposit of 25% of the total tour price is required. During peak times (Christmas, New Year, and Easter), the deposit increases to 50%. Payment can be made via bank transfer (details will be provided), Western Union, or online.


Cancellation Policy

Cancellation fees are as follows:

  • More than 1 week in advance: No cancellation fee
  • 3 to 6 days in advance: 50% cancellation fee
  • Within 2 days of departure: 100% cancellation fee

Important: All flights require a 100% cancellation fee.


Tipping

If you are satisfied with the services provided, it is customary to give a gratuity, although you are not obligated to do so.
