Tour Description

Your Valley the Kings representative will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo by A/C vehicle to journey south to visit the Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid at Dahshur. Dahshur is a famous royal necropolis in Egypt, holding many renowned pyramids including the Red and Bent Pyramids of King Sneferu. The Bent Pyramid was the first to be built and earned its name due to a building flaw that made the weight too heavy; thus, the Red Pyramid was constructed, named for its color after rainfall. We will then proceed to visit Saqqara, or Sakkara, where the world-famous Step Pyramid of Djoser is located, recognized as the world's oldest major stone structure. After your visit, you will be driven back in comfort and safety to your hotel.

Pricing

Price Policy

Our prices are quoted in USD, but we also accept Euros and Sterling. The prices are per person and per trip, except during peak seasons such as Christmas, New Year, and Easter holidays. You can easily change the currency by clicking the icon at the bottom of the page.

Children Policy

• Ages 0 - 1.99: Free of charge
• Ages 2 - 11.99: Pay 50% of the tour price
• Ages 12 and above: Pay the full tour price as an adult

Note: For domestic flights included in your tour, children aged 0-2 incur a fee of $15. Children aged 2 and above are classified as adults.

Payment Policy

A deposit of 25% of the total tour price is required. During peak times (Christmas, New Year, and Easter), the deposit increases to 50%. Payment can be made via bank transfer (details will be provided), Western Union, or online.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation fees are as follows:

• More than 1 week in advance: No cancellation fee
• 3 to 6 days in advance: 50% cancellation fee
• Within 2 days of departure: 100% cancellation fee

Important: All flights require a 100% cancellation fee.

Tipping

If you are satisfied with the services provided, it is customary to give a gratuity, although you are not obligated to do so.
