Discover the beauty and history of Alexandria on a captivating 12-hour tour from Cairo. Enjoy iconic sites, including Pompey’s Pillar, the Catacombs, and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
Our Valley the Kings professional guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo by A/C vehicle to transfer you to Alexandria. First, visit Pompey’s Pillar, constructed in honor of Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century. Then, take a drive to visit the Catacombs, the largest Roman cemetery consisting of three levels cut into the rock. After a break for lunch, continue to see the Qaitbay Citadel, built on the site of the ancient lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. We then journey to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a major cultural and library center. After this interesting visit, you will be driven back in comfort and safety to your hotel in Cairo.

Our prices are quoted in USD, but we also accept Euros and Sterling. The prices are per person and per trip, except during peak seasons such as Christmas, New Year, and Easter holidays. You can easily change the currency by clicking the icon at the bottom of the page.
Note: For domestic flights included in your tour, children aged 0-2 incur a fee of $15. Children aged 2 and above are classified as adults.
A deposit of 25% of the total tour price is required. During peak times (Christmas, New Year, and Easter), the deposit increases to 50%. Payment can be made via bank transfer (details will be provided), Western Union, or online.
