Itinerary

Day 1: El Minya & Tuna El Gabal

After breakfast, your Tour Guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to escort you on a tour to El Minya, which is approximately a four-hour drive. Upon arrival, start your tour by visiting the city sites where Akhenaton built his city. After the city tour, enjoy a break for lunch. Next, journey to Tuna El Gabal, where our first stop will be the Tomb of Petosiris, the High Priest of Thoth. The tomb is shaped like a small temple with beautiful coloring and scenes of everyday life. Continue on to the Ibis Catacombs, which served as graves for families to visit their loved ones, where sacred animals, including baboons, rest. Finally, visit the Tomb of Isadora, a wealthy woman from the 2nd century who drowned in the Nile, and whose mummy still lies in the tomb. Overnight in El Minya.

Day 2: Beni Hassan & Tel El Amarna, Return to Cairo

Today, your Tour Guide will escort you to Beni Hassan, where you can view many tombs originating from the Old and Middle Kingdoms, including the Tombs of Bakhet III, Khnumhotep, and Khety. Take a break to refresh and enjoy lunch. Then, journey to Tel El Amarna to explore the Northern Tombs, including the Tombs of Ahmose and Huya. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo.

Pricing

Price Policy

Our prices are quoted in USD, but we also accept Euros and Sterling. The prices are per person and per trip, except during peak seasons such as Christmas, New Year, and Easter holidays. You can easily change the currency by clicking the icon at the bottom of the page.

Children Policy

• Ages 0 - 1.99: Free of charge
• Ages 2 - 11.99: Pay 50% of the tour price
• Ages 12 and above: Pay the full tour price as an adult

Note: For domestic flights included in your tour, children aged 0-2 incur a fee of $15. Children aged 2 and above are classified as adults.

Payment Policy

A deposit of 25% of the total tour price is required. During peak times (Christmas, New Year, and Easter), the deposit increases to 50%. Payment can be made via bank transfer (details will be provided), Western Union, or online.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation fees are as follows:

• More than 1 week in advance: No cancellation fee
• 3 to 6 days in advance: 50% cancellation fee
• Within 2 days of departure: 100% cancellation fee

Important: All flights require a 100% cancellation fee.

Tipping

If you are satisfied with the services provided, it is customary to give a gratuity, although you are not obligated to do so.
