Day Trip to Pyramids & Sakkara

While your ship is in port in Alexandria, take a day trip to Cairo to explore the magnificent pyramids. Visit the Pyramids of Giza, guarded by the Great Sphinx, and then head to the ancient Step Pyramid at Sakkara. Tour Description

A representative from Valley the Kings Travel will pick you up from Alexandria Port at the cruise exit door, holding a sign with your name. Enjoy a private shore excursion and day trip from Alexandria to Cairo, approximately a 3-hour drive in a luxurious air-conditioned vehicle, with a rest stop if needed.

Begin your adventure with panoramic views of the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. Then, proceed to the Great Sphinx, a striking statue featuring the head of a pharaoh and the body of a lion, dating back to the time of Chephren. The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple associated with the Pyramids of Chephren.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant before continuing to Sakkara, Egypt's oldest ancient cemetery. Here, you'll explore the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, the world's first monumental stone building, designed by the engineer Imhotep. You'll also see one of the impressive Mastabas (burial chambers) of either Ptah Hotep, Idut, or Mereruca.

Before returning to Alexandria, you’ll stop at a Papyrus Institute, where you can shop for souvenirs from Cairo and Egypt.

Price Policy

Our prices are quoted in USD, but we also accept Euros and Sterling. The prices are per person and per trip, except during peak seasons such as Christmas, New Year, and Easter holidays. You can easily change the currency by clicking the icon at the bottom of the page.

Children Policy

• Ages 0 - 1.99: Free of charge
• Ages 2 - 11.99: Pay 50% of the tour price
• Ages 12 and above: Pay the full tour price as an adult

Note: For domestic flights included in your tour, children aged 0-2 incur a fee of $15. Children aged 2 and above are classified as adults.

Payment Policy

A deposit of 25% of the total tour price is required. During peak times (Christmas, New Year, and Easter), the deposit increases to 50%. Payment can be made via bank transfer (details will be provided), Western Union, or online.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation fees are as follows:

• More than 1 week in advance: No cancellation fee
• 3 to 6 days in advance: 50% cancellation fee
• Within 2 days of departure: 100% cancellation fee

Important: All flights require a 100% cancellation fee.

Tipping

If you are satisfied with the services provided, it is customary to give a gratuity, although you are not obligated to do so.
