Next, visit Medinet Madi, where the main temple was built by Pharaohs Amenemhet III and completed by Amenemhet IV, dedicated to the Crocodile God Sobek and Serpent Goddess Renenutet. Finally, explore Wadi Al Hitan, also known as Whale Valley, a protected landscape that contains many fossil remains of extinct whales. Journey to Qasr Qaroun, the remains of the Greco-Roman City of Dinysios, where the temple dedicated to the God Sobek features a unique structure with rooms and staircases leading to the roof&mdash;an exceptional feature among Egypt&rsquo;s temples. Then, visit Karanis, a town where two temples were built to worship the God Sobek, Petesouchos and Pnepheros, which contain the remarkable house of the Crocodile.
