Upon arrival, start your tour by visiting the city sites where Akhenaton built his city. After the city tour, enjoy a break for lunch. Next, journey to Tuna El Gabal, where our first stop will be the Tomb of Petosiris, the High Priest of Thoth. The tomb is shaped like a small temple with beautiful coloring and scenes of everyday life. Continue on to the Ibis Catacombs, which served as graves for families to visit their loved ones, where sacred animals, including baboons, rest. Finally, visit the Tomb of Isadora, a wealthy woman from the 2nd century who drowned in the Nile, and whose mummy still lies in the tomb. <p>Today, your Tour Guide will escort you to Beni Hassan, where you can view many tombs originating from the Old and Middle Kingdoms, including the Tombs of Bakhet III, Khnumhotep, and Khety. Take a break to refresh and enjoy lunch. Then, journey to Tel El Amarna to explore the Northern Tombs, including the Tombs of Ahmose and Huya.
