Our representative will pick you up from your hotel in Marsa Alam to escort you to Hurghada Airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, our tour guide will be waiting to meet and accompany you to enjoy a visit to the amazing Giza Pyramids: the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. Then, visit the majestic Sphinx, which has the head of a pharaoh and a lion's body, dating back to the time of Chephren. You will also visit the Valley Temple, which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren. Next, we proceed to Sakkara, where the world-famous Step Pyramid of Djoser is located, the world's oldest major stone structure. We will then journey to Memphis, founded by King Menes who united Upper and Lower Egypt, where you can view the Statue of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx of Memphis. After enjoying your breakfast and checking out of your hotel, our guide will pick you up and accompany you to visit Salah El Din Citadel, a medieval Islamic fort. Continue on to view Mohamed Ali Mosque, the most noticeable mosque in Cairo with its twin minarets. Journey onward to Old Cairo to visit The Hanging Church, known as the Staircase Church due to its steps leading up. You can also see the Abu Sirga Church, reportedly built on the place where the Holy Family rested, featuring scenes of the life of Christ and the Virgin Mary adorning the walls. Next, proceed to the fabulous Egyptian Museum, which houses artifacts from the Pharaonic period. Here, you will be able to view the wonderful Tutankhamun collection of treasures. Finally, enjoy the hustle and bustle of the colorful Khan El Khalili Bazaar.
