Tour Description

Your representative will pick you up from your hotel in Taba to transfer you to Taba Port, where you will board your boat to Aqaba Port. From there, you will continue to Petra to explore the magnificent Red Rose rock city of the Nabataeans.

During your visit, you’ll have the chance to take a horse ride to the Siq Canyon, a natural fissure in the rock formations. As you walk through the canyon, marvel at the stunning carvings of idols, niches, and statues. Continue your journey along the façade street to see the Roman Theatre, Royal Tombs, the Roman Colonnade street Qasr al-Bent, and the Archaeological Museum.

After an enriching exploration, take a break for lunch. Once you’ve enjoyed your meal, you will be transferred back to Aqaba City for a tour of the city. Following this, you will head back to your boat for the return journey to Taba, and then be transferred to your hotel in Taba.

NB: The Petra tour requires a considerable amount of walking, and there are a limited number of horses available in Petra. If for any reason the ferry from Taba to Aqaba is canceled, you will cross the borders to Aqaba, Jordan, via Israeli borders. Please note there is a fee to cross from Egypt through the Israeli border into Jordan, approximately $32, along with a taxi fee from the Israeli border to Jordan, approximately $25. Once through the crossing, you will be met and assisted by a representative from Valley the Kings.

Pricing

Price Policy

Our prices are quoted in USD, but we also accept Euros and Sterling. The prices are per person and per trip, except during peak seasons such as Christmas, New Year, and Easter holidays. You can easily change the currency by clicking the icon at the bottom of the page.

Children Policy

• Ages 0 - 1.99: Free of charge
• Ages 2 - 11.99: Pay 50% of the tour price
• Ages 12 and above: Pay the full tour price as an adult

Note: For domestic flights included in your tour, children aged 0-2 incur a fee of $15. Children aged 2 and above are classified as adults.

Payment Policy

A deposit of 25% of the total tour price is required. During peak times (Christmas, New Year, and Easter), the deposit increases to 50%. Payment can be made via bank transfer (details will be provided), Western Union, or online.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation fees are as follows:

• More than 1 week in advance: No cancellation fee
• 3 to 6 days in advance: 50% cancellation fee
• Within 2 days of departure: 100% cancellation fee

Important: All flights require a 100% cancellation fee.

Tipping

If you are satisfied with the services provided, it is customary to give a gratuity, although you are not obligated to do so.
