Tour Description

Our qualified Egyptologist Guide will pick you up from your hotel or Nile cruise in Aswan by private A/C vehicle to transfer you to your motorboat for your trip to St. Simeon Monastery, located at the southern tip of Elephantine Island. Upon arrival, you will ride a camel to the monastery. The original name of this monastery was Anba Hatre. As you tour around the monastery, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the desert below from the top of the hill. After this fabulous visit, relax and enjoy your drive back to your hotel or Nile cruise in Aswan.

Pricing

Price Policy

Our prices are quoted in USD, but we also accept Euros and Sterling. The prices are per person and per trip, except during peak seasons such as Christmas, New Year, and Easter holidays. You can easily change the currency by clicking the icon at the bottom of the page.

Children Policy

• Ages 0 - 1.99: Free of charge
• Ages 2 - 11.99: Pay 50% of the tour price
• Ages 12 and above: Pay the full tour price as an adult

Note: For domestic flights included in your tour, children aged 0-2 incur a fee of $15. Children aged 2 and above are classified as adults.

Payment Policy

A deposit of 25% of the total tour price is required. During peak times (Christmas, New Year, and Easter), the deposit increases to 50%. Payment can be made via bank transfer (details will be provided), Western Union, or online.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation fees are as follows:

• More than 1 week in advance: No cancellation fee
• 3 to 6 days in advance: 50% cancellation fee
• Within 2 days of departure: 100% cancellation fee

Important: All flights require a 100% cancellation fee.

Tipping

If you are satisfied with the services provided, it is customary to give a gratuity, although you are not obligated to do so.
