Tour Description

Our Valley the Kings tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor by A/C vehicle for a drive towards El Menya (around 6 hours). Upon arrival, you will see the Tombs of the Nobles at Beni Hassan, which are carved into the rock of the mountains. There are 39 tombs in this area, featuring great reliefs that depict fishing, hunting, weaving, bird trapping, travel, and warfare. Next, you will visit Tell El Amarna, the ruins of the city constructed by Akhenaton and his wife, Queen Nefertiti. This city, “Akhet-Aten,” means Aten’s Horizon and served as the center of the cult of the sun god, Aten. You will explore the well-preserved tombs in this area, including the tombs of Ahmose, Huya, Mery-Re I, and Ay. These tombs are beautifully decorated with colorful scenes of King Akhenaton’s various actions and rituals. After your visits, you will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay in Minya.

On the second day, you will be picked up to visit the Tuna-al Gabal area, which was a significant site during the Roman period and served as a burial ground. The site contains burial homes with unique wall paintings, a mixture of Roman and ancient Egyptian art. You will explore notable tombs such as the tomb of Petosiris, the tomb of Isadora, and the tomb of the god Thoth, who was represented as a baboon. After enjoying your visit, you will be transferred by A/C vehicle to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Price Policy

Our prices are quoted in USD, but we also accept Euros and Sterling. The prices are per person and per trip, except during peak seasons such as Christmas, New Year, and Easter holidays. You can easily change the currency by clicking the icon at the bottom of the page.

Children Policy

• Ages 0 - 1.99: Free of charge
• Ages 2 - 11.99: Pay 50% of the tour price
• Ages 12 and above: Pay the full tour price as an adult

Note: For domestic flights included in your tour, children aged 0-2 incur a fee of $15. Children aged 2 and above are classified as adults.

Payment Policy

A deposit of 25% of the total tour price is required. During peak times (Christmas, New Year, and Easter), the deposit increases to 50%. Payment can be made via bank transfer (details will be provided), Western Union, or online.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation fees are as follows:

• More than 1 week in advance: No cancellation fee
• 3 to 6 days in advance: 50% cancellation fee
• Within 2 days of departure: 100% cancellation fee

Important: All flights require a 100% cancellation fee.

Tipping

If you are satisfied with the services provided, it is customary to give a gratuity, although you are not obligated to do so.
