Tour Description
Our qualified Egyptologist Guide from Valley the Kings will pick you up from your hotel or chosen starting point in Aswan at 7:00 am and accompany you on your drive to Luxor by A/C vehicle, which takes approximately 3 hours. Upon arrival in Luxor, visit the East Bank to explore the magnificent Karnak Temples, the largest place of worship ever built. Its ancient name, Ipet-isut, means “the most sacred of places.” This complex of temples was constructed over two thousand years by various generations of pharaohs. Within the complex, the incredible “Hypostyle Hall” features a forest of giant pillars.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before proceeding to the West Bank of the Nile. Here, you'll see the Colossi of Memnon, two giant statues of Amenhotep III that were reputed to sing shortly after sunrise following an earthquake. Next, visit the famous Valley of the Kings, where you will explore three tombs, including that of the renowned King Tutankhamun. Finally, take a visit to the majestic Queen Hatshepsut Temple, known for her role in bringing stability, peace, and security to Egypt. After your visits, enjoy a comfortable drive back to your hotel or chosen starting point in Aswan.
