Visit the magical Karnak Temples, one of the biggest temples in the world. Here, you have the opportunity to see the Sacred Lake and the huge Scarab Statue, which is said to grant wishes if you walk around it. Karnak Temples were built in dedication to the God Amun and his wife Mut. Then, continue to visit Luxor Temple, which showcases three civilizations: Pharaonic, Coptic, and Islamic. It was built by Amenhotep III in the 18th Dynasty B.C. and completed by Ramses II during the 19th Dynasty B.C. King Ramses II is one of the most famous kings to rule in Pharaonic times. After this fantastic tour, you will be transferred back to your starting point.
Our Valley the Kings qualified Egyptologist guide will pick you up from your hotel or Nile Cruise in an A/C vehicle in Luxor to explore the West Bank. Start with a visit to the famous Valley of the Kings, which has 63 tombs within it. The royal tombs are decorated with scenes from Egyptian mythology, reflecting the beliefs of the period. While guides are not permitted to enter the tombs, they will explain everything to you before you enter. Next, journey to the magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, also known as Deir el-Bahari. Queen Hatshepsut, meaning "Foremost of Noble Ladies," is believed to have established the first trading routes. Continue to the Colossi of Memnon, the huge twin statues made from blocks of quartzite sandstone, thought to guard the entrance to Amenhotep’s memorial temple. The Colossi is one of the best places for taking fabulous photos. After this fantastic tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel or Nile Cruise.
