Our trip will conclude with a visit to the Tombs of the Nobles.
Join our Valley the Kings Tour Guide as you embark on an unforgettable journey through the West Bank of Luxor. You’ll be picked up from your hotel or Nile cruise in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle to explore three magnificent sites.
Your adventure begins at Medinet Habu, one of the best-preserved memorial temples in Luxor, dedicated to King Ramses III, the last great warrior pharaoh of the New Kingdom. Marvel at the intricate wall scenes depicting Ramses II’s military campaigns, particularly the legendary Battle of Qadesh against the Hittites.
Next, visit the Workmen's Village in Deir el-Medina, founded during the reign of King Thutmose I in the 18th dynasty. This village was home to the skilled artisans and craftsmen who built and decorated the royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings. Hidden within the cliffs above, you'll find the workers' tombs, renowned for their exquisite decorations.
Finally, conclude your day at the Tombs of the Nobles, where over 400 tombs are adorned with detailed scenes from the daily lives of the nobles, along with cryptic passages from the Book of the Dead to guide them through the afterlife.
After this enriching exploration, you’ll return to your hotel or Nile cruise.
