Day 1: Arrival to Cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our representative will meet you before emigration and passport control, holding a sign with your name. He will assist you with obtaining the visa and entry stamp, collect your luggage, and escort you to the hotel in a private bus. During the drive, he will review the detailed itinerary. Check-in and overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: Pyramids – Civilization Museum – Old Cairo
Breakfast at the hotel. We will start by visiting the New Civilization Museum to learn more about Egypt's rich history and view 22 royal mummies. Next, we’ll explore Old Cairo, including the Hanging Church, the Church of St. Sergius, Ben Ezra Synagogue, and Amr Ibn Al-As Mosque. Lunch will be at an authentic restaurant (vegetarian options available upon request). After lunch, we’ll visit the Giza Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the World (optional camel ride or pyramid entry available for extra fees), followed by the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 3: Alexandria Full Day Tour
Breakfast at the hotel, then travel to Alexandria (approximately 250 km, 3 hours). Our first stop will be the Alexandria National Museum, showcasing exhibits from Graeco-Roman times to the arrival of Islam. Next, we’ll visit the Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa, blending Roman, Greek, and Egyptian styles. After that, we’ll see Pompey’s Pillar, a monolithic column of red granite. Enjoy a seafood lunch at a local restaurant (vegetarian options available upon request). In the afternoon, we’ll visit the Citadel of Qaitbay and the modern Library of Alexandria, which holds 20 million books. Return to Cairo for an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 4: Fly to Aswan – Philae Temple – Nubian Museum
Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, we will escort you to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, you’ll meet our representative, collect your luggage, and visit Philae Temple on Agilika Island, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Next, we’ll explore the Nubian Museum to learn about Nubian civilization. Afterward, transfer to your selected hotel in Aswan for check-in and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Aswan – Abu Simbel – Nile Cruise – Felucca Expedition
Early morning check-out from the hotel; a breakfast box will be provided. We’ll drive to Abu Simbel (about 3.5 hours). Visit the magnificent rock-cut temples of Ramses II and Nefertari, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After the visit, return to Aswan, where you’ll board the Nile Cruise for lunch. In the late afternoon, enjoy a felucca sailing trip around Elephantine and Kitchener Islands to catch the sunset. Return to the cruise for dinner and overnight in Aswan.
Day 6: High Dam – Unfinished Obelisk – Kom Ombo Temple
Breakfast on board. We’ll visit the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut. Afterward, we’ll sail to Kom Ombo, where lunch will be served on board during the journey. In Kom Ombo, visit the temple dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris. Return to the cruise and continue sailing to Edfu for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Edfu Temple – Karnak Temple – Luxor Temple
Breakfast on board. Ride a horse carriage to Edfu Temple, dedicated to Horus, then sail to Luxor. Upon arrival, visit the magnificent Karnak and Luxor Temples located on the East Bank of the Nile. Return to the cruise for dinner and overnight in Luxor.
Day 8: Valley of the Kings – Hatshepsut Temple – Colossi of Memnon
Breakfast on board. Disembark from the cruise and visit the Valley of the Kings, where we’ll explore three royal tombs (excluding Tutankhamun, Seti I, and Ramses V & VI). Afterward, visit the funerary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch will be served at an authentic restaurant overlooking Habu Temple (vegetarian options available upon request). Transfer to your selected hotel in Luxor for an overnight stay.
Day 9: Dendera & Abydos Temples – Fly to Cairo
Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and drive to Abydos Temple, known for its impressive ruins and the Osirian underground temple. After lunch at an authentic restaurant (vegetarian options available upon request), we’ll travel to Dendera Temple, dedicated to the goddess Hathor. After the visits, transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, meet our representative, collect your luggage, and transfer to your selected hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 10: Departure Transfer
Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out at the agreed time. We will escort you to Cairo Airport for your flight home.
