Tour Description

Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Alexandria by A/C vehicle to escort you for a fabulous tour to the City of Rosetta, which is approximately one hour’s drive. Once you have arrived in Rosetta City, also known as Rashid, carry on to visit the Rashid Museum, one of the original red and black brick houses, to view the replica of the Rosetta Stone. The original is displayed in the British Museum. The Stone is inscribed in three languages: Demotic, Ancient Greek, and Ancient Pharaonic. Continue on to enjoy walking around the Souq and streets to see the local markets and fresh produce on sale in everyday life while continuing to the Ottoman Homes. Proceed on to visit the House of Amasyali, whose exterior boasts strong colors, while inside there are wooden ceilings and wall decorations with Mother of Pearl. Now let us visit the Mill of Abu Shaheen. The mill has huge wooden beams and planks, and in the courtyard, the roof is supported by granite columns. We now continue to the Hanging Mosque, also known as Al-Muallaq Mosque. The mosque is one of the greatest examples of Ottoman mosques, featuring marble columns and colored tiles. We now leave behind this interesting visit to take a drive to Qaitbey Citadel. Here you have the chance to climb to the top of the Citadel, where you will see the most impressive views of the Nile meeting the Mediterranean. Time now to travel back to Alexandria, taking a restful break for lunch before returning to your hotel.

Price Policy

Our prices are quoted in USD, but we also accept Euros and Sterling. The prices are per person and per trip, except during peak seasons such as Christmas, New Year, and Easter holidays. You can easily change the currency by clicking the icon at the bottom of the page.

Children Policy

• Ages 0 - 1.99: Free of charge
• Ages 2 - 11.99: Pay 50% of the tour price
• Ages 12 and above: Pay the full tour price as an adult

Note: For domestic flights included in your tour, children aged 0-2 incur a fee of $15. Children aged 2 and above are classified as adults.

Payment Policy

A deposit of 25% of the total tour price is required. During peak times (Christmas, New Year, and Easter), the deposit increases to 50%. Payment can be made via bank transfer (details will be provided), Western Union, or online.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation fees are as follows:

• More than 1 week in advance: No cancellation fee
• 3 to 6 days in advance: 50% cancellation fee
• Within 2 days of departure: 100% cancellation fee

Important: All flights require a 100% cancellation fee.

Tipping

If you are satisfied with the services provided, it is customary to give a gratuity, although you are not obligated to do so.
