Cairo and Alexandria two day tour from Port Said

Once you arrive in Port Said, you’ll be in the capable hands of our tour guide, who will accompany you on an exciting two-day adventure to Cairo and Alexandria.

On your first day, explore the remarkable Great Giza Pyramids, one of the seven wonders of the world, followed by a visit to the majestic Sphinx. Your day continues at the famous Egyptian Museum, where you can admire a variety of fascinating artifacts on display. You’ll enjoy an overnight stay in Cairo.

On your second day, journey to Alexandria to see the impressive Pompey’s Pillar, the Catacombs, and the Qaitbay Citadel, built on the site of the ancient Pharaohs. Your two-day tour will conclude with a transfer back to your ship at Alexandria Port.

Tour Description

1st Day: Giza Pyramids and Egyptian Museum

Once your cruise has docked in Port Said, your representative will be ready to assist you for your drive to Cairo. The journey lasts about three hours and includes a police convoy for added security.

Upon arrival in Cairo, your tour begins with a visit to the Great Giza Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus, whose construction remains a mystery even today. Next, marvel at the spectacular Sphinx, a symbol of strength and wisdom, with paws measuring 15 meters—indicative of its sheer size. You’ll also visit the Valley Temple associated with the Pyramids of Chephren.

After a lunch break, continue to the renowned Egyptian Museum, home to countless artifacts from the Pharaonic period, including the exquisite treasures of Tutankhamun—an opportunity not to be missed. After a day filled with fantastic experiences, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

2nd Day: Visit to Alexandria

After breakfast and check-out from your hotel, your guide will be waiting to escort you in an air-conditioned vehicle for a relaxing drive to Alexandria.

Upon arrival, you’ll first visit the impressive Pompey’s Pillar, a Roman column that is the most famous in Egypt. Next, explore the Catacombs, the largest Roman cemetery with three levels cut into the rock.

Take a break to enjoy lunch before proceeding to the Qaitbay Citadel, built on the site of ancient pharaohs.

The tour concludes with a visit to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a major library and cultural center. After a fulfilling day, you’ll enjoy a relaxing drive back to your cruise ship at Alexandria Port.

Price Policy

Our prices are quoted in USD, but we also accept Euros and Sterling. The prices are per person and per trip, except during peak seasons such as Christmas, New Year, and Easter holidays. You can easily change the currency by clicking the icon at the bottom of the page.

Children Policy

• Ages 0 - 1.99: Free of charge
• Ages 2 - 11.99: Pay 50% of the tour price
• Ages 12 and above: Pay the full tour price as an adult

Note: For domestic flights included in your tour, children aged 0-2 incur a fee of $15. Children aged 2 and above are classified as adults.

Payment Policy

A deposit of 25% of the total tour price is required. During peak times (Christmas, New Year, and Easter), the deposit increases to 50%. Payment can be made via bank transfer (details will be provided), Western Union, or online.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation fees are as follows:

• More than 1 week in advance: No cancellation fee
• 3 to 6 days in advance: 50% cancellation fee
• Within 2 days of departure: 100% cancellation fee

Important: All flights require a 100% cancellation fee.

If you are satisfied with the services provided, it is customary to give a gratuity, although you are not obligated to do so.
