Day 1: Arrival to Cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our representative will meet you before emigration and passport control, holding a sign with your name. He will assist you with obtaining your visa and entry stamp, collect your luggage, and escort you to the hotel in a private bus. During the drive, he will review the detailed itinerary. Check-in and overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: Pyramids – Memphis – Saqqara
Breakfast at the hotel. We will start by visiting the necropolis of Saqqara and the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the first building with a pyramidal formation. Then, we'll visit Memphis, the oldest capital of Egypt, which is now an open-air museum. Lunch will be served at a quality authentic restaurant (vegetarian options available upon request). Afterward, we will visit the Giza Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the World (optional camel ride or pyramid entry available for extra fees), followed by the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 3: Egyptian Museum – Alabaster Mosque – Coptic Cairo – Khan El Khalili
Breakfast at the hotel. We will start our day by visiting the Alabaster Mosque built by Mohamed Ali inside Saladin Citadel. Next, we’ll explore the Coptic part of Cairo, including the Hanging Church, the Church of St. Sergius, Ben Ezra Synagogue, and Amr Ibn Al-As Mosque. Lunch will be served at a floating restaurant overlooking the Nile River. After that, we’ll visit the Egyptian Museum, which narrates the pharaonic history from King Menes to the last dynasty. Finally, we’ll enjoy a walking tour of Khan El Khalili, the oldest market in the Islamic part of the city. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 4: Full Day Tour to Alexandria
Breakfast at the hotel, then travel to Alexandria (around 250 km, approximately 3 hours). Our first stop will be the Alexandria National Museum, showcasing exhibits from Graeco-Roman times to the arrival of Islam. Next, we’ll visit the Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa, a blend of Roman, Greek, and Egyptian styles. We’ll then see Pompey’s Pillar, a monolithic triumphal column of red granite. Lunch will be at a local seafood restaurant (vegetarian options available upon request). In the afternoon, we’ll visit the Citadel of Qaitbay and the modern Library of Alexandria, which houses 20 million books. We’ll escort you to your hotel in Alexandria for check-in and overnight stay.
Day 5: Alexandria – Siwa Oasis
Breakfast at the hotel. We will travel to Siwa (approximately 6 hours). Lunch will be served at a local restaurant (vegetarian options available upon request). Upon arrival in Siwa, check into the hotel, take some rest, and enjoy dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Siwa.
Day 6: Salt Lakes – Cleopatra Path – Amon Temple – Oracle Temple – Fitnas Island
Breakfast at the hotel. We’ll start the day by visiting the Salt Lakes for a relaxing swim. Next, we’ll tour Cleopatra’s Path, a natural spring. After that, we’ll visit the Oracle Temple, dedicated to Amun, where Alexander the Great was crowned. Then we’ll explore the remains of Umm Ubayd Temple, also dedicated to Amun. Later, we’ll return to the hotel for some rest, and then visit Fitnas Island for a beautiful sunset. Dinner will be at a quality restaurant (vegetarian options available upon request). Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Shali Fortress – The Dead Mountain – Great Sand Sea Safari
Breakfast at the hotel. We’ll start our day at the center of Siwa, visiting the 13th-century mudbrick Fortress of Shali. Next, we’ll explore the Dead Mountain, which has rock tombs dating back to ancient times. Afterward, we’ll embark on a safari to the Great Sand Sea and Bir Wahid in a 4WD car with a local guide, enjoying the sunset on the sand dunes. Dinner will be at the hotel or in the local oasis market. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: Siwa – Cairo by Road
Breakfast at the hotel. We’ll escort you back to Cairo, stopping for lunch at a quality restaurant (vegetarian options available upon request). Arrive in Cairo, and we will drop you off at your selected hotel.
Day 9: Departure Transfer
Breakfast at the hotel. At the previously agreed time, we will escort you to Cairo International Airport for your international flight home.
