Tour Description

Day 1: Arrival with Luxor Sightseeing

Our Valley the Kings representative will meet you at your hotel in Sharm to accompany you to Sharm-El-Sheikh Airport for your flight to Luxor. When you arrive at Luxor Airport, our guide will be waiting to escort you to visit the magical Karnak Temples, which are dedicated to the God Amun and his wife. Then, journey on to visit the majestic Luxor Temple, built by Amunhotep III in the 18th Dynasty B.C. and completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty B.C. Also enjoy visiting the Obelisk of Ramses II in front of the 1st Pylon. After your visit, you will be transferred to check into your Nile Cruise. Overnight on the cruise. Meals: (Lunch, Dinner)

Day 2: Luxor Sightseeing Valley of Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Colossi of Memnon

After enjoying your breakfast on board, take a visit to the West Bank, home of the famous Valley of the Kings. Journey through the Valley of the Kings and explore the tombs of King Tutankhamun, Ramesses VI, King Tutmosis, and Amonhotep II. Next, continue to the majestic Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, also known as El Deir El Bahari. Queen Hatshepsut was the first Pharaonic woman to rule Egypt and to start the first trading routes. Now, onto the Colossi of Memnon facing the Nile. The Colossi are twin statues of Amenhotep III, providing a great opportunity for photographs. Back to your cruise, which will sail to Edfu. Overnight on the cruise. Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 3: Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples

After breakfast on board, sail to Edfu to visit Horus Temple. Edfu Temple is an ancient Egyptian temple housing important scenes and inscriptions related to the conflict between Horus and Seth. Sail on to Kom Ombo Temple, shared by the two gods Sobek and Horus. Sobek, known as the Crocodile God, is associated with the Nile, military, and fertility, while Horus is the God of Sky and Kingship. Back to your cruise and sail to Aswan. Overnight on the cruise. Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 4: Aswan Sightseeing

After breakfast on board, our Egyptologist guide will meet you to visit the famous High Dam, which controls all of Egypt's water. Amazingly, the dam has three years of Nile water stored. Next, we move on to the unique Unfinished Obelisk, which weighs 1,168 tons; had it been finished, it would have weighed 1,200 tons. Now, visit the beautiful Philae Temple, built for the Goddess Isis, who represents health, marriage, and wisdom. Overnight on the cruise. Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 5: Disembark

After breakfast, disembark your Nile cruise. You will have the opportunity to take an optional tour to Abu Simbel or Nubian Village or spend time enjoying the sights of Aswan. Transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Sharm.
