Day 1: Arrival to Cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our representative will meet you before emigration and passport control, holding a sign with your name. He will assist you with obtaining your visa and entry stamp, collect your luggage, and escort you to the hotel in a private bus. During the drive, he will review the detailed itinerary. Check-in and overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: Pyramids – Memphis – Saqqara
Breakfast at the hotel. We will start our day by visiting the necropolis of Saqqara and the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the first building with a pyramidal formation. Next, we will visit Memphis, the oldest capital of Egypt, now an open-air museum. Lunch will be served at a quality authentic restaurant (vegetarian options available upon request). After that, we will visit the Giza Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the World (optional camel ride or pyramid entry available for extra fees), followed by the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 3: Egyptian Museum – Alabaster Mosque – Coptic Cairo – Khan El Khalili
Breakfast at the hotel. We will start our day by visiting the Alabaster Mosque built by Mohamed Ali inside Saladin Citadel. Next, we’ll explore the Coptic part of Cairo, including the Hanging Church, the Church of St. Sergius, Ben Ezra Synagogue, and Amr Ibn Al-As Mosque. Lunch will be served at a floating restaurant overlooking the Nile River. After that, we’ll visit the Egyptian Museum, which narrates the pharaonic history from King Menes to the last dynasty. Finally, we’ll enjoy a walking tour of Khan El Khalili, the oldest market in the Islamic part of the city. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 4: Final Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. At the previously agreed time, we will escort you to Cairo International Airport for your international flight home.
