Enjoy visits to Philae Temple, Kom Ombo, and Edfu, then explore the stunning sights of Luxor, including the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple—all while relaxing aboard this fantastic Nile Cruise.
Our Valley the Kings representative will meet you at your hotel in Marsa Alam to transfer you in an A/C car to Aswan to your Nile Cruise. Embarkation before lunch. After lunch, our Egyptologist guide will accompany you to visit the famous High Dam, which controls all of Egypt's water. It is the largest rock-filled dam; in fact, you could be standing on it and not even know it. The dam has three years of Nile water stored, then onto the unique Unfinished Obelisk. The obelisk weighs 1,168 tons; had it been finished, it would have weighed 1,200 tons. It is amazing that many of the casing stones for the two pyramids at Giza came from this quarry in Aswan. Now visit the beautiful Philae Temple, which the ancient Egyptians built for the Goddess Isis, representing health, marriage, and wisdom.
Meals: Lunch and Dinner
Breakfast on board. Now sail to Kom Ombo. The Nile is not just life for Egypt but is also a source of goodness; that is why most of the temples in Egypt are built on the river. Visit the wonderful temple shared by the two gods Sobek and Horus. Sobek, known as the Crocodile, is the God of the Nile, the army, and fertility. Horus is the God of the sky and kingship. Sail to Edfu to visit Horus Temple. The Temple of Edfu houses important scenes and inscriptions of the Sacred Drama related to the conflict between Horus and Seth. Afternoon tea during sailing to Luxor.

After breakfast on board, visit the West Bank, home of the famous Valley of the Kings. Journey through the Valley of the Kings and explore the tombs of King Tutankhamun, Ramses VI, King Thutmose, and Amenhotep II. Unlock the secret story of the royal tombs, the world of mystery and treasure. Visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari. Queen Hatshepsut was the first pharaonic woman to rule Egypt. Now onto the Colossi of Memnon facing the Nile. The Colossi are twin statues of Amenhotep III; a large earthquake reportedly shattered the northern colossus. After the rupture, the lower half of the statue was reputed to sing, always within 1 or 2 hours of sunrise.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
After breakfast, our guide will accompany you to visit the magical Karnak Temples, the greatest example of worship in history, dedicated to the God Amun and his wife Mut. Karnak Temple was the place where the earliest international peace treaty known to historians was preserved on a wall in the Temple of Amun at Karnak. Then continue onto visit the majestic Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III in the 18th Dynasty and completed by Ramses II during the 19th Dynasty. King Ramses II was the most famous king in the 19th Dynasty, ruling Egypt for about 67 years. It was dedicated to the great god Amun-Ra, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu, representing the Theban triad. Enjoy visiting the Obelisk of Ramses II in front of the 1st Pylon. Transfer back to your hotel in Marsa Alam.
